4 feb 1945 año - Yalta Conference

Descripción:

In February 1945, Joseph Stalin, Winston Churchill, and Franklin Roosevelt met at Yalta, an Ukrainian resort on the Black Sea. The Conference was held to decide the future of Europe after World War II. While President Roosevelt of the United States advocated for countries to have self-determination of their governments, President Joseph Stalin of the Soviet Union claimed that Soviet national security required pro-Soviet governments in eastern Europe. This contributed to the Cold War as it set up the playing field for Cold War. Before the war was ended, it already seemed as if the communists were going to be on the eastern side of Europe, while the capitalists were going to be on the western side.
