Elizabeth Cady Stanton:
Elizabeth Cady Stanton organized the Seneca falls convention. She fought specifically for equal rights concerning women at work, school, and church.

Seneca Falls Convention:
The Seneca Falls Convention was held in New York on July 19-20, 1848. All of the ideas/complaints during the convention were listed in the Declaration of Sentiments (modeled after the Declaration of Independence) stating that, "All men and women are created equal." Equal rights for women included suffrage, which would (did) give women the power to vote.
