The first reseration admitted into the Republic.

The Kítwi Reservation was admitted into the republic due to protests regarding the rapid industrialization of the republic and the concern of minority groups without the capabilites of industrialization. After a member of the Kítwi tribe in Oipienta presented a case against the Oipientian Republic for developing plans in teir territory, the senator from the State of Vulxes set out to push for the creation of a reservation for the Kítwi people, an Oipientian speaking minority group south of the Vulxes River. After long debates and protest in Yenithe and Kueplios, the plan to create a separate province that came from the State of Vulxes began to take form. The creation of a resrevation does not allow for businesses or industries to use the resources within the region unless they gain government approval and the approval of the leaders of the reservation as well as being from the resrevation themseves. The government does not have the ability to industrialize the region or build military bases within it wihtout the agreement and approval of the leaders of the reservation. However, military exercises can be conducted in the reservation without the knowledge of the reservation leaders. Overall, the creation of reservations in Oipienta promoted traditionalism and the preservation of minority cultures and ecosystems.
