A group of 7 MPs under the chairmanship of Sir John Simon. Arrived in 1928 to study constitutional reform. Simon was appointed in November 1927 to report on India's constitutional progress for introducing constitutional reforms, as promised. Opposed by many Indians; Nehru, Gandhi, Jinnah, and the Muslim League, and INC.
