The victim, known as Emily Doe, won a Glamour Women of the Year award after she wrote a powerful victim impact statement on being raped. She was assaulted by Brock Turner after a fraternity party at Stanford UniversityActresses including Amber Heard and Lena Dunham read out her letter at the awards ceremony.
Stanford law professor Michele Dauber was invited on to the stage to accept the award on the victim's behalf.
