25 oct 1936 año - The Rome-Berlin-Tokyo Axis

Descripción:

A coalition formed in 1936 between Italy and Germany. A agreement formulated by Italy's foreign minister Galeazzo Ciano informally linking the two fascist countries was reached on October 25, 1936. It was formalized by the Pact of Steel in 1939. The term Axis Powers came to include Japan as well.
The Axis developed through the diplomatic efforts of resurgent Nazi Germany, fascist Italy, and Imperial Japan. A pact was made between the three to secure their own imperial interests in their respective spheres of influences.
These 3 major Axis powers, Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, and the Empire of Japan, referred to themselves as the "Rome-Berlin-Tokyo Axis". At their zenith, the Axis powers ruled empires that dominated large portions of Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, but they were ultimately defeated in the end of World War II.
