The Dred Scott decision was when Dred Scott's master took him to a free state. Dred claimed that since he was in a free state that he was not a slave anymore. But then the Supreme Court decided that slaves are property and if the owner decides to state them out of a slave state then they are still slaves.Añadido al timeline:
