how Charles try to pain for his side of the money he used a forced loan now this is normal when you are in war the people would but taxed more this is because it would push a lot of money into the war to help win it but Charles started a forced loan before the war had even started so a lot of people did not pay for this extra tax added on so he thought you would be unloyal toward the crown and you were imprisoned (the 76 of them) if not paid within this year they raised £267,000 which still was not enough.
