This event is also known as Night of the Broken Glass and is translated as Night of Crystal. This was a streak of violence actions throughout Germany, Austria, and Czechoslovakia. The violence caused for Jewish homes and properties to be destroyed after the "inspiring" speech of Josef Goebbels.
