On June 8, 1978, Nintendo released the Color TV-Game Racing 112 (カラーテレビゲームレーシング112 Karā Terebi-Gēmu Rēshingu Hyaku Jū Ni), a bird's-eye-view racing game that implements a steering wheel and gearshift.
