Women had begun to overcome boundaries put in place in the area of voting and working and this event helped to show that women could do anything that a man could do. Not only was it inspirational for women, it inspired the whole world and showed how women can be leaders as well as men and showed how women had been conquering all areas of social inequalities and they would continue to do so into the 20th century.
