The International Women's Day celebration is a time in which women are recognized for their achievements regardless to divisions. Whether it is economical,national, political,ethnic, cultural and linguistic.

It was first issued from the activities of labour movements at the turn of the twentieth century in North America and across Europe.

The image depicted is a panel discussion for “A Sense of Balance” sponsored by the Ad Hoc Group on Equal Rights for Women. It was held at the UN Headquarters on March 8 of 1977 to celebrate the International Women's Day 1977.
