28 jun 1919 año - Treaty of Versailles
Descripción:
The Paris Peace Conference started on January 18th, 1919, and many world leaders worked toward the Treaty of Versailles, which would be signed on June 28th, 1919. President Wilson brought his Fourteen Points to the table, and the conference adopted all but one major point: the idea of “peace without victory” and not punishing Germany severely. The rest of the Allied leaders wanted to make an example of Germany and prevent a future war. Germany signed, taking on war guilt, heavy reparations and a denied entrance into the League of Nations. Germany suffered, and this set the stage for WWII.
