For a long time, cotton had been a great resource for many things, but was very un-profitable because of the time-consuming effort to pick cotton and seperating the fluff from the seeds. The Cotton Gin had made it all go away. All you had to do was collect the Cotton Gin, put it in the Cotton Engine(Gin), This let it seperate the different parts of the cotton up. This product helped to make Georgia a wealthier state in its growth.
