28 feb 1994 año - Don't Ask, Don't Tell
Descripción:
The official United States policy on military service by homosexuals changes, instituted by the Clinton Administration. Known as “don’t ask, don’t tell,” the policy allows closeted members of the military to serve, while prohibiting those in the military who are openly gay to serve. Prior to DADT there had been an outright ban on gays in the military. It was repealed on September 20th, 2011. This was a step forward, as gay people were no longer banned from the military, however it did not eliminate discrimination completely, as homosexuals still had to hide.
