Delegates from each of the colonies met to make decisions about the Revolutionary war. They decided to print money in order to pay soldiers. They started the Continental Army and George Washington was appointed the commander in chief.Most of the delegates wanted to remain loyal to Britain so they sent the Olive Branch Petition. The King wouldn't look at the petition and said the colonies were rebelling. This caused the King to send soldiers to the colonies.
