Henning von Tresckow’s Brandy Bomb
On March 13th, 1943, when Hitler was visiting a military base, military officer Henning von Tresckow went up to one of Hitler's staff and handed him a bottle of brandy. Hidden in the brandy was a bomb. Hitler along with his staff boarded the plane along with the case of brandy. The bomb never detonated though for some reason, and Hitler made it unharmed.
