Descripción:
The Indian Removal act was the forced migration, under president Jackson, that gave the federal government the power to remove all Indian tribes west of the Mississippi river and relocate them to the east. Many people resisted and protested this act as they thought it was unconstitutional and illegal. The Trail of Tears was named after the forced migration of the Indian tribes.
