Henry Clay Frick was a supplier and right hand man to Carnegie. He was known for being very strict and anti-unionalist. In fact, he was in charge of the steel mills when the Homestead Strike broke out. His decision to bring in the Pinkerton strikebreakers, which resulted in violence, caused many people to lose sympathy for laboreres.
