Pearl Harbor, a military base in Hawaii, was attacked by 360 Japanese planes. We lost a few ships, planes and soldiers, but we also got lucky. Most of the aircraft carriers were out on maneuvers to train for battle. Due to Japan wanting more territory, we now just entered a second war while fighting one in Europe.
