eliza cavere (the eliza) beats them back at every turn
tbh, the highlanders really just went into this with the sentiment that righteousness was on their side, and honestly, that's no way to win a war
what little autonomy they had gotten is squashed, and eliza demolishes the council of clans
she passes a law that basically makes them second-rate citizens, and all lowlanders and those of at least 60% caverian blood will be prioritised in everything and anything
the worst part is that the rebellion was launched by like, five different clans who were all 'we're gonna bring freedom to all'
the rest of the caledoans and highlanders really just could not care less
sure, things weren't great, but they had been getting along and even intermarrying for centuries without incident, but these five idiots thought they were gonna change the world
and they did
for the worse
