the carnival is setting up
wiliam bolinbroke arrives and james goes to see him at his apartment before the festival, they have a meaningful talk that i just don't know what is yet
maybe about school and the king and stuff
and wiliam kinda insinuates isabella and stuff
james gets huffy
they go to the festival, james sneaks off to see kano
a little witch destroys the festival
cade saves her
maire follows jos's mom, but before she can get far, she sees one of the beasts
jos catches up to them before she can investigate
when maire looks again, the beast is gone
