Descripción:

After vanquishing the harpies in the court of Phineus of Salmydessus in Thrace, the Argo made south and put to shore in Mysia. Here, Hylas was kidnaped by nymphs. Heracles, Telemon, and Oicles went searching for him, and the Argo left without them. Heracles never found Hylas, and wandered to Troy, where Laomedon planned on sacrificing his daughter Hesione to Poseidon in the hope of avoiding destrcution by a sea monster. Heracles happened to arrive and agreed to kill the monster if Laomedon would give him the horses received from Zeus as compensation for Zeus' kidnapping Ganymede. Laomedon agreed. Heracles killed the monster, but Laomedon went back on his word. Heracles vowed revenge.
