Descripción:

On the 5th December 1938, the German Reich invaded the neutral Kingdom of Denmark.

This invasion took six hours to conquer the entirety of Denmark (except for their overseas colonies).

During the invasion, the Danish Royal Family (the House of Glücksburg) was founded and held prisoner in the former capital of Copenhagen.

The Royal Family knew that Denmark was in a difficult position. The flat grasslands in Jutland were able to have German panzers storm through the territory. With a small population inside the Kingdom, they were not able to hold off any German advance.

So the King, Christian X of Denmark was going to stay in his royal house till the Germans arrive to capture him and his family.

King Christian X of Denmark was made to be a visible symbol of the Danish national cause. (aka reduced to a national figurehead to keep the Danish people happy).

Germany settled some of their troops in occupied Denmark to ensure the invasion of Norway when the seasons are in Summer or Spring.
