13 abr 1896 año - Plessy v Ferguson
Descripción:
Homer Plessy sat in a white-only train car as an act of civil disobedience hoping he would get arrested and the case would go to the supreme court, weakening segregation laws. The plan was orchestrated by a group of black republicans. He had very light skin, so his point was that there's no way to tell someone's heritage, so there's no point in segregation. However, courts upheld LA segregation laws.
