South, especially SC, wants Jackson to get rid of the Tariff of 1828, but he doesn't. His VP John C Calhoun does though. He drafts South Carolina Exposition and Protest outlining nullification procedures. AJ hella pissed. SC nullifies the tariff, so Jackson drafts the Force Bill sending in the military to enforce the tax. Also threatens to hang Calhoun. Clay fixes it by lowering the tariff. This prompts SC to un-nullify the tariff, but they also nullify the Force Bill as an FU. Whole thing proves that Jackson is adopting more federalist policies.
