The Iron Curtain Speech was delivered by the British Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, and the purpose of his speech was to bring Britain and the United States closer together in order to act against the policies of the Soviet Union(communism). He also talked about the “iron curtain” that was descended across Europe and this “iron curtain” symbolized a wall between Europe and the Soviets. This speech mentions a “barrier” that divides Europe and the Soviets which created tension between them and promotes war.
