After heading the Sibe- rian group of Nikiforova's detachment in June, 1919, he somehow survived. Later he surfaced abroad. In 1924, based in Warsaw, he maintained contact with the remnants of the Kharkov-based group "Nabat". Acting as a courier, he frequently crossed into the USSR. According to Belash, he was still alive in 1930.
