2 mayo 1921 año - Against this background of loyalty stands out almost the only traitor from the ranks of the Makhnovist Kontrrazvedka - Fedor Glushchenko. Arrested by Chekists, he agreed to work in the Special Strike Group of the VCK only in order to warn Makhno about the attempt being prepared against him. Arriving in Turkenovka, Glushchenko immediately gave himself up along with his partner Kostyukin. Before they were shot Kostyukin cursed Glushchenko for leading him there and then betraying him.
