Even after the death of Makhno
in 1934 Zinkovsky continued to received instructions from the
Foreign Centre. When the Odessa Makhnovist organization was
exposed in August 1937, it consisted of 90 people. Besides
Chuprin and Belash, testimony about Zinkovsky was also given by
other Makhnovists: the former chairman of KAD N. Zuychenko,
Ye. Boychenko, and P. Karetnikov.
Zinkovsky, nLaturally, denied his guilt. But, in distinction from
others, he didn't save his own skin by "ratting on his former col-
leagues. Although, as head of the Kontrrazvedka he certainly know
enough about them.
