Teddy wakes up and wonders what yesterday meant. He thinks about talking to Grace about it, but doesnt know if Lane would want anyone else knowing. He sees Lane in his second class, and blushes when Lane looks at him. He looks back at his schoolwork. Lane walks with him to Herbology, and asks him if they can see each other later. Teddy says they can.
After dinner, Teddy meets Lane in the secret room and they hang out. Eventually, Lane explains that he doesnt want to date him, and that he thinks that they should have the kind of friendship that does that. Teddy agrees, and asks Lane if he can talk to Grace about it. Lane says he can, and asks if he can talk to his own friends about it. Teddy says he can. They hang out in the secret room until after midnight, then go back to their dorms.
