Teddy goes to Castor and Pollux's house for two weeks. They get school supplies during this time. Their grandmother finds out Teddy is a werewolf when she sees him get hurt touching something silver. She tells him she'll keep it a secret, and that she had a friend who was a werewolf when she was younger. She shows her a few pictures of her and her friend. Teddy asks what happened to her friend, and she tells him her friend was killed so her killers could sell her fur and teeth for gold. Teddy has a nightmare about that happening to him.
