After his death, Lily began to eat less and less, she didn't care to be proper Lady Lu anymore, and lost track of time. Peony, Lily's eldest granddaughter's and Snow Flower's eldest grandsons's child, was now 37 and she would become Lady Lu after Lily's passing. Peony had given birth to a boy and girl (twins), Lily saw both her and Snow Flower in them and was happy that her and her laotong's bloodlines would continue on ruling the Lu household.
