(Exact date unknown) A few months after Snow Flower had given birth to her son, Lily did so as well. Lily had now secured her place in the Lu household by not only being the first daughter-in-law but also the first women to birth a grandson to Lady Lu and Master Lu. Lily's Rice-and-Salt days were also beginning, which meant her days would mostly comprise of embroidery, weaving, sewing, mending, making shoes, cooking meals, washing the dishes, cleaning the house, washing the clothes, keeping the brazier going and doing bed business with her husband at night.
