6 h 4 m, 24 nov 1832 año - Nullification Crisis
Descripción:
The Nullification Crisis was mainly between South Carolina and the federal government, specifically Andrew Jackson. South Carolinians thought that the tariffs were unconstitutional. For this reason, South Carolina tried to nullify the tariff and go against the government; however, Jackson did not support this defiance and threatened to use military forces. Both South Carolina and Jackson did not accomplish what they wanted; therefore, the issue was not resolved. Although there was not military action or disunion, the South was still displeased that the tariffs were only beneficial to the North.
