Lully
Apex of the Comédie-ballet, a genre of play created and popularized by Lully and Molière in the second half of the 17th century which mixes music, dance and mundane characters and events. The genre fell out of popularity after Molière's death.
This play was first presented before the court of Louis XIV (aka the Sun King) at the Château of Chambord. It is mostly remembered for its last act which features the "Marche pour la Cérémonie des Turcs".
