鍾民强( Rodolfo) founded the Brazil China Association in Rio 中華會館 in 1916 (see photo), right across Praca Tiradentes. His picture is still in office of the Association today

He became a founding member of the Brazil chapter of the China National Party (Guomindong). Due to his learned background and reputation as a good speaker competent in two languages, he became good friend with the ambassador 戴恩赛
