After traveling back from Cyrodiil to an inn in Davon's Watch, the Brotherband rest and mend their wounds while discussing their induction into the Imperial Legion.
While discussing, a courier hands Gondul a letter. Upon reading it, Gondul is stunned to see that it is from his childhood friend Guilidus, who he thought was dead. The letter explained that he had survived the attack near Solitude and was alive in Coldharbour.
