1 ene 1930 año - Dust Bowl

Descripción:

During the 1930s, the United States experienced one of the most devastating droughts in the history of the country. The drought affected almost two-thirds of the country and parts of Mexico and Canada and was infamous for the numerous dust storms that occurred in the southern Great Plains.

In the United States, the 1930s were characterized by a decade of rainfall deficits and high temperatures that desiccated much of the land surface of the Great Plains. The drought and its associated dust storms created one of the most severe environmental catastrophes in U.S. history and led to the popular characterization of much of the southern Great Plains as the "Dust Bowl."
