A number of civic organizations in Taiwan expressed solidarity with Hong Kong's anti-extraditional law amendments campaign, calling on the Taiwan government to regulate the entry of Hong Kong civil servants and Hong Kong enterprises with Chinese background into Taiwan, and calling on all countries to jointly review the human rights situation in Hong Kong.
