I drive a Ford Escape to school. Ford is one of the first major car companies ever made from the United States. Over a hundred years later, it still remains as a major car retailer. With the globalization of Ford, almost all countries worldwide have been impacted culturally, economically and environmentally. The society is impacted very because people can commute to work, school, friends and other cities efficiently. Globalization has impacted the economy because Ford sells (or has influenced other companies) in many countries which demonstrates the merge of markets. Specifically between Canada and the United States, NAFTA has made it possible for the cars to be traded without tariffs (becoming borderless). Finally, the environment has taken a huge toll due to the amount of greenhouse gas emissions released into the atmosphere. Currently, we are moving towards a more emission-free society.
