The creation of the birch shop added a new type of wood for plot users to use in addition to paper and prismarine crystals. Maps were now able to be created consistently due to the ability to buy paper from the birch shop and the ability to buy compasses consistently in Mian's Convenience Store and when compasses release as a weekly offer for cheaper.
