After I got home from school, I had a glass of water from my Brita water filter. Brita has an absolute advantage over the filtered water industry in North America, which is a perfect example of an economic effect on globalization since Brita is actually a German company. If a German company are able to seize a Canadian industry so entirely, this can only be explained by globalization's effect on economy.
