The 19th Amendment of the US Constitution is finally ratified, now proclaiming “the right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex" ("Woman Suffrage Centennial"). Women's rights are finally being established legally, in writing. It is a powerful time for women all over the US.
