The Revolution of 1800 happens when Thomas Jefferson becomes the president of the United States. He becomes the first Democratic-Republican president to win and they also win the legislature. It was a transfer of power from the Federalists to Democratic-Republicans. Jefferson kept some of Alexander Hamilton's plan except for excise tax.
