11 dic 588 año aC - Nebuchadnezzar besieges Jerusalem Jeremiah 32 & 52

Jeremiah 32/1-5
Jeremiah had prophesied that Babylon would besiege and eventually take Jerusalem. Zedekiah wasn't impressed and locked Jeremiah up in "the court of the prison" v2 just so he could keep an eye on him.
Meanwhile, Yahweh had J's cousin, Hanameel, come to him in desperation to buy his field in Anathoth. Jeremiah did so and lodged the title with the appropriate scribe v12 and had the title buried ready for the return of the captivity when Yahweh said (v15) that "houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land."
It was an act of desperation by Hanameel and an act of faith by Jeremiah.
Yahweh again confirms in vs 36-44 that Israel would return from captivity.
Jeremiah 33 records a further prophecy while he was still in prison speaking of a future time when Yahweh's promise to King David would be fulfilled and the Branch of Righteousness would take control of the united kingdoms of Israel and Judah (v14) guided by the Righteousness of Yahweh v16
