(1688-1689): The Glorious Revolution was the overthrow of King James II by William of Orange and King James II's daughter Mary, and was called the Glorious Revolution because it was the least bloodiest revolution of all time, James II was overthrown because he was a bad leader, and it resulted in a Protestant Monarchy in England.
