(1653-1658): He fought against Charles I in the English Civil War and for Parliament, although he though Parliament didn't do enough against King Charles I, Cromwell became the most powerful man of England until his death in 1659, he was executed by the people as Charles I was too, this further impacted Europe and England, this was one of the most bloody ages of all time.
