The Constitution was created and signed in Philadelphia Independence Hall. It was written during the Constitutional Convention. James Madison is often referred to as the Father of the Constitution while he did contribute a lot he did not do it all by himself and he had the help of many others. The Constitution gives the power to the people and describes what the government can do. On September 17, 1787 the Constitution of the United States of America was signed.
