The American Constitution was inspired by God. Although signed on the seventeenth of September 1787 it was not ratified by the necessary nine states till 1788. It was written and signed in Philadelphia State House. The constitution was created in a way that could safeguard our fundamental rights with still allowing the government power needed to govern on a national level. The constitution was created by people who cared so deeply for freedom that they put there life on the line for it. This freedom has and has been made to last for generations. Of the written national constitutions, the U.S. Constitution is the oldest and shortest.
